"果园", "Boomgaard" (orchard) is not an arbitrarily chosen name, it has it's origin as a symbol deeply engraved into chinese culture in addition to it also being the family name of Hana van den Boomgaard, our founder and director. We believe that truly authentic and valuable theoretical works and educational materials take time to develop. The concept of the 果园 (orchard) itself is a metaphor for time and accumulation. The mighty trees in nature do not bear it's fruits overnight. Only with persistent care and unrelenting patience, their roots settle and eventually grow into something that can sustain itself for the healthy and prosperous future years.

In accordance with our primary mission and our believes, this is specifically what we hope to carry out.
